Susana Caldas Fonseca
PhD in Biotechnology, with specialization in Food Science and Engineering from Catholic Portuguese University. Food Engineer specialist, lecturing in graduate and undergraduate courses, supervising master/doctoral thesis and collaborating in academic and industrial R&D projects. Invited Assistant Professor in Sciences Faculty of University of Porto and integrated member of GreenUPorto. Co-author of papers in international refereed indexed journals and book chapters. Main research subjects relate to Modified Atmosphere Packaging, Sustainable Packaging, Minimal Processing, Postharvest Technology and New Product Development.
