Graduated in Biology, Mafalda Pinto has a MSc degree in Functional Biology and Biotechnology of Plants (FCUP). She is currently a PhD student in Biology (FCUP) where she is focused on the development of a nanobiopesticide to control pests and diseases associated with tomato plants, taking advantage of the biological properties of eucalyptus leaves. She has a special interest in researching sustainable solutions to increase plant productivity in an ever-changing environment.
