Ana Patrícia Gonçalves Fernandes

I graduated in Biology and finished my master’s degree in Plant Biotechnology in 2019 from FCUP. My research areas are plant nutrition, abiotic stress and phytopathology. I specifically worked with glutamine synthetase gene family in tomato and on the effect of nitrogen forms on kiwifruit bacterial canker. I am currently doing a PhD in the Agricultural Sciences program from FCUP on the topic “EFFICIENT-TOM: Biotechnological strategies for EFFICIENT water and nitrogen use in TOMato”, that will be accomplished at GreenUPorto in collaboration with CBQF and UniTO.
