Ana Gavina is a PhD Student in Biology from FCUP & CIIMAR. She has a BSc in Biology and Geology and an MSc in Applied Biology – Toxicology and Ecotoxicology. Her research has been focused on derivation of risk limits for the protection of soil ecosystems from nanomaterials. Her interests focus on nanomaterials and soil ecotoxicology, namely the evaluation of changes in the habitat and retention soil functions as well as the evaluation of changes in soil enzyme activity.
