Last week, we were honoured to receive, at our Vairão campus, a group of representatives from chinese agriculture companies and research institutes, interested in learning about best practices, innovative projects, and exploring potential collaboration opportunities within Portugal’s agricultural ecosystem.

They were visiting as stakeholders of the Horizon Europe project Econutri, in which Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação is a partner responsible for coordinating the EU-China collaboration. Given the project’s focus on sustainable agriculture, this visit was very well aligned with GreenUPorto’s research interests!

Our research line coordinators, Professors Ruth Pereira, Susana Carvalho and Luís Cunha, as well as researchers from each of these lines, were there to welcome the group and tell them about the University of Porto research ecosystem and GreenUPorto.

We are always grateful and open to receive interested groups to boost our R&D partnerships further!
