PhD in Biotechnology from the Portuguese Catholic University. Nutritionist specialist in Collective Food and Restoration, by the Order of Nutritionists. Associate Professor with aggregation at the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences of the University of Porto (FCNAUP). Director of the Masters in Collective Food. Chairman of the Board of Representatives of FCNAUP. His main research interests are in the areas of sustainability of food production and consumption, optimization of production processes and management of food services and the role of food services in consumer health.
