Ninth International Workshop on Non-Crystalline Solids

PUBLICATION PROCEDURE

 
The contributions of participants will be published as a special issue of the Journal of Non-Crystalline Solids (JNCS; impact factor: 1.433) The volume will contain the lectures of the invited speakers and the contributed papers. Authors with accepted abstracts are kindly invited to submit their full articles (deadline: to be announced). Only one paper by participant registered in the Workshop will be published.

 The deadline for submission of manuscripts is 30 March 2008

Please kindly note that all the papers will be carefully refereed and only those deemed as having sufficient originality, scientific quality and relevance in the field will be published. Therefore, authors are encouraged to submit original papers of a high standard.
MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION

1. PAPER LENGTH:

INVITED SPEAKERS:   5 pages in the journal format.
CONTRIBUTED PAPERS:   3 pages in the journal format.

To adjust the paper length we provide you the MS Word version of the JNCS template. Your whole paper must be paste on it (including figures and tables).
2. INSTRUCTIONS TO AUTHORS. Please, read carefully and follow-up the instructions  provided by the Publisher before submitting the manuscript to the Workshop guest editors.

3. MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION. The submission of papers will proceed throught the Elsevier Editorial System (EES) at website: http://ees.elsevier.com/noc
On this page you must log in as an author. Note: you will have to create an account, username and password, if you don't already have one.
On the "Author Main Menu" page, select "Submit new manuscript"
It is important that you then select "Special issue: NCS-9" in the "Article Type"
The procedure will then be as a regular article and you should follow the instructions given.
