I am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at Safe Cities project. I am also an external collaborator at the Center for Research in Advanced Computing Systems (CRACS) which is a R&D unit of INESC-TEC Research Laboratory.
I completed my Doctoral, Masters and Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto.
I have worked as a Researcher in two previous projects: Afina-te and REMINDS.

Develop methods for fake news detection and analysis.
Currently working on fake news detection and analysis.
I was part of REMINDS - RElevance MINing and Detection System project and my focus is on Sentiment Analysis on Social Networks.
I worked at CIAFEL - The Research Centre in Physical Activity, Health and Leisure in is home institution (the Faculty of Sport Sciences and Physical Education at the University of Porto, Portugal) as a researcher in the Afina-te project.
