The international staff week will be focused on international student recruitment, welcome service for students and academic staff, Erasmus+ mobility. We invite active participants, willing to share ideas, best practices and their own experiences from international work with students and academics. The programme will consist of a mixture of meetings, presentations and workshops.
International Staff Week at FH JOANNEUM, Austria

During this week you will not only get to know FH JOANNEUM in Graz but also our campus in Bad Gleichenberg. We will put together a diverse program of presentations, group discussions and cultural activities for you. You will be expected to present your home institution at our International Fair, where you will also have the chance to meet our students and staff.
The topics which we would like to discuss with you during the week will be the following (you can only choose one):
- „Inclusion“– how to ensure equal and equitable access to current and prospective participants from all backgrounds.
- „Safety“– how to ensure and promote the safety of outgoing and incoming mobile participants.
- „International research projects“- how to successfully carry out international mobility and research projects.
- Track for librarians: „Teaching Library and Information Literacy” “Open Access and Publication Services”
Topics 1 and 2 will also play an important role in the next Erasmus Charta 2021.
Our staff week is directed at staff of international relations offices as well as staff from other parts of your institution (Diversity, Student Administration, PR & Marketing, Facility Management, Human Relations, Quality Development, R&D, Library,… ) working with one of the topics above. The international staff week is a good chance for colleagues who would like to visit us in the frame of an Erasmus+ Staff Exchange. Colleagues from our non-European partner universities are also very welcome as well as our International Credit Mobility partners.
10th annual Prague International Week

The registration for the 10th annual Prague International Week - staff training (April 20-24, 2020) is open. You can apply until February 21, 2020. The capacity is 20 participants.
This training is aimed mainly at our colleagues from International Offices - its main focus will be different aspects of internationalization, especially digitalization of mobility administration and social media strategy.
The event will be held from 20th to 24th April 2020 and it is designed mostly for administrative staff responsible for the international agenda of their home institutions. The purpose is to share good practices about internationalization activities and mobility programs and to strengthen our international partnership through discussons, presentations and networking events. Preliminary programme will be available in February but the topics in the agenda are given in the application form. We would like to give the participants space for their own presentations during the week, for better sharing of their knowledge and advice to each other. Please be aware of your active participation during registration. The International Staff Week will accept a limited amount of participants. We foresee a maximum of two people per participating institution. Please do not make travel arrangements before your participation is confirmed. We will confirm your participation after the registration deadline.
