Joana Isabel Esteves Neto

I graduated in Biology and concluded an MSc degree in Ecology, Environmental and Territory at Faculty of Sciences of The University of Porto, having developed my dissertation in the area of agricultural sustainability assessment in a multidisciplinary project of collaboration between FCUP Ecoinside® and Jerónimo Martins®. Since then my interest in agronomy matters has grown, following a research career in the field of agrarian sciences has been a vocational decision. Recently I joined the project “PRE-HLB – Preventing HLB epidemics for ensuring citrus survival in Europe”, and my work aims to study the life cycle and biology of the pest in the Iberian Peninsula, as well as to establish the ideal conditions for rearing Trioza erytrae.
