The 5th EUGLOH Plant Science Meeting will be held at the Department of Biology (University of Porto), on November 10th, as an organization of the Master in Functional Biology and Biotechnology of Plants (FCUP) and GreenUPorto, within the scope of the EUGLOH Alliance.

We are pleased to announce the titles of the two plenary lectures:

Professor Veronica de Micco, University of Naples — “Plant Biology and Crop Production in Extra-Terrestrial Environments”
Professor Ágnes Szepesi, University of Szeged, Hungary — “Polyamine Catabolism and Hypusination in Plants During Salt Stress”

The full program will be available soon and will feature the two plenary lectures along with 15 oral presentations by researchers and students.

The meeting is open to all students and the scientific community of Plant Biology, through participation and oral or poster presentations, providing an opportunity for discussion, knowledge sharing, and the exchange of ideas among students, academics, and scientists within the EUGLOH alliance.

The meeting will cover three topics (sessions): PLANT FUNCTIONAL GENOMICS, PLANT PHYSIOLOGY, and PLANT-MICROORGANISM INTERACTIONS. The final program (available soon) will include two plenary lectures by internationally renowned scientists, aiming to engage students in the fascinating field of Plant Biology.

Participation in person at Room FC5-2.78 of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto or via streaming. The streaming link will be provided after registration.

Participation is free, but registration is required!
