5th Intensive Course

HISTORY
In 2005, a consortium of 47 universities from 8 European countries has launched an European Master Course on Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modelling (TCCM), under the coordination of the Universida Autónoma de Madrid, which aims at forming scientists able to address problems in modern science by the combination of the tools of Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Science.
This Master is structured in two years, equivalent to 120 ECTS credits. The first year (M1) is arranged locally at each member University, including courses that provide the student with the background required by the university and necessary to follow the second year of the Master (M2), which has a marked international research character.
The first part of the second year is an Intensive Course, that took place in the academic years
- 2006-2007 at the University of Perugia, Italy,
- 2007-2008 at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain,
- 2008-2009 at the Université Paul Sabatier, Toulouse, France.
- 2009-2010 at the the University of Groningen, The Netherlands, and Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium.
For the coming year, 2010-2011, it will be organized at the University of Porto, Portugal.
