Geometric invariants of hyperbolic flows

Resumo:
There are still a number of outstanding problems about the statistical properties of hyperbolic flows - notably problems involving rates of mixing for hyperbolic flows. In this talk we describe a geometric invariant associated to a hyperbolic flow that enables one to quite easily prove the stability and genericty of rapid mixing for hyperbolic flows.
