Mathematica Summer School on Theoretical Physics: Selected topics in Holography
Porto University, July 21 - 26, 2014


The first HoloGrav school on Holography will take at Porto University in close collaboration with the other European networks COST and GATIS.

Holographic Methods and Applications
Reykjavík, August 18-22, 2014


The 2014 HoloGrav annual workshop will will be held in Reykjavík, Iceland. The meeting will provide an overview and assessment of recent progress in applying holographic methods to various strongly coupled quantum systems.

QCD Phase Diagram and Holography 2013
Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies, July 27 - 28, 2013


This meeting aims to bring the focus back to the QCD phase diagram and on heavy ion collisions, in particular far-from-equilibrium. Experts on gauge/gravity correspondence, gravity, condensed matter physics, heavy ion collisions and QCD will come together and define the goals for this thriving field of research.

Breaking Of Supersymmetry And Ultraviolet Divergences In Extended Supergravity

This Workshop will review the possibilities that global electric and magnetic duality and the continuous global symmetry of the equations of motion of Born-Infeld like theories control the quantum theory, thus offering an explanation for the UV properties of extended supergravity theories.

Correlation Functions in N=4 SYM
Centro de Física do Porto, December 17 - 20, 2012


This workshop will cover the subject of correlation functions in N = 4 SYM, extending successes of the past years for the spectral problem of this theory. Research in this topic combines field theory and integrability techniques, together with the gauge/gravity duality.
